Post-election.
The Old SayingThe old saying's wrong.
You don't fall among the stars
When you miss that lunar stop.
Gravity just pulls you back to earth
At 9.81 ms ^-2 (that's to 3 s.f.)
Well there are clouds there, of course
To cushion that long fall down.
But little wisps of nothingness do little
When terminal velocity kicks in.
I guess i'll just enjoy the long ride down
(Go with the flow, as they say)
And while i'm falling i'll calculate
Just how big that impact crater will be,
And how many pieces
I might be in.
